This ghost fish warns those in power to protect Tikapa Moana through sustainable fishing, before more species vanish like the koura. Kai moana is not guaranteed if current practices continue. Cast in crystal glass to evoke the ocean’s fragility, the work recalls sea glass found along the foreshore.
